This is the intro and overture that Jonny has composed (and recorded) for the show at Whitby Abbey that starts 24the October.
It’s a long walk from the entrance to the first stage – especially when you have to pass marshmallow fire pits and a bar and roasted chestnuts – so the intro is really long.
The intro (the first 18 minutes) is ambient sounds with pre-echoes of the show’s story popping through.
The actual overture starts at 19:00 – and is the tune that we played as a final waltz for Symmetry ECD on 19th October. The ending is “cut” because that’s when the actual show starts – come to Whitby to find out what happens (if you’re in any way in striking distance!)
