Busy Autumn!

Hello!
As summer has made way for autumn, it seems as if we are just as busy. Some of what we do doesn’t end up on our gig list, so sometimes we’re rushed off our feet even if the gig list looks empty!

12.10.19 – Lewes Saturday Folk Club workshop – Early Dance for Folk Musicians

13.10.19 – Lewes Saturday Folk Club workshop – Nyckelharpa/Scandi Music Workshop

We’re really looking forward to Lewes this weekend where we’re doing a couple days of workshops. You’ll find us looking at dance on the Saturday, a bit of Arbeau, Susato, Praetorius, Playford and Contra. You’re also likely to experience some of Vicki’s fabled Nyckelrhythmics! On the Sunday it’s Scandi/Nyckelharpa. There will be nyckelharpas to try, but it’s not a have a go beginners day, the music will be more challenging than that. You’ll get to meet the sienaharpa, moraharpa, kontrabasharpa and silverbasharpa to give you a real insight in the history of the nyckelharpa!

19.10.19 – Bishop’s Castle Town Hall, Bishop’s Castle, Shropshire
19.11.19 – Bradninch Folk Club, Bradninch, Devon
22-24.11.19 – Dance Weekend as PPP
26.11.19 – Hoy at Anchor Folk Club, Westcliffe-on-Sea, Essex

Then later, we’re at the Club is Surrey, Bishop’s Castle in Shropshire and Bradninch in Devon! We round of November with a dance weekend with PPP and the Hoy at Anchor back home in Essex.

Then it’s Christmas! More about our Christmas tour next month!
