Hello!
It doesn’t seem a month since I last posted here!  Time flew by with seriouskitchen.  We had such a great time on the Whispering Road.  We played lots of great venues and made lots of new great friends.  One of the highlights was our day videoing at The High Barn in Great Bardfield and we’re busy releasing out youtube videos.  We spent a week editing all the footage together and are really pleased with the way it all came out.  We’re collating it into a playlist, so keep an eye on the embedded video below to see the footage!

We’ve now converted the spare room to recording studio and even whilst I am busy typing this Jonny is laying down  a guitar part for a new song.  I’ve got the job of turning the click off at the right time for the ritenuto at the end.  I’ve got the video camera by my side and we’ll be documenting the process with a video blog, watch this space!

We do have a couple of gigs this month, the most exciting one being playing for International Bagpipe Day at the Pitt Rivers museum in Oxford on Saturday 9th March.  I’m presenting on the Swedish bagpipes, which is really exciting.  I’ve got my presentation all prepped and ready to go.  I should have a draft copy of my new Swedish tune book ready for people to see too. (The real thing won’t be out for another month or two whilst I sort out the ISBN number and send off for duplication).
