Whitby 2022

Finally it looks like we’re going to be able to go to Whitby in real life! We’re so excited! So what is our schedule? As I find out I’ll post it on this page!

| 20:00-23:30 | Rifle Club Concert Room We’re on last of six, so on just before 11pm. |
| Sunday 21st August 2022 | |
| 15:15-17:15 | Spa Theatre Bar (upstairs) It’s more a round the room, so several spots throughout the concert. |
| 19:30-23:00 | Spa Theatre We’re on second of six at around 20:10. |
| Monday 22nd August 2022 | |
| 20:00-23:30 | Coliseum We’re on penultimate of 6 at around 22:10 |

| 20:00-22:45 | Spa Pavillion Hall Playford Ball as Purcell’s Polyphonic Party with caller Rhodri Davies |

| 17:30-19:30 | Spa Exhibition Hall Family Ceilidh with caller Barry Goodman |
| 20:00-23:00 | Conservative Club Function Room We don’t know yet how this will run – it could be several spots over the course of the evening, it could be penultimate of five. We have no idea. |

| 10:00-11:20 | Conservative Club Bar Nyckelharpa Workshop – The silverbasharpa is the predecessor of the modern three row chromatic nyckelharpa. This workshop will teach some silverbas tunes. Don’t play nyckelharpa? Come along anyway! Suitable for instruments that can play in C |
| 11:30-12:50 | Stakesby Arms DADGAD GUITAR WORKSHOP . Intermediate and Advanced Players. Bring a capo and plectrum. Jonny Dyer; Less is More. Exploring simple but effective melody, harmony, bass and chords for accompanying singing and other tune players |
